Which means nothing we said or who we ran had a chance. Lies trumped truth. So all the post-mortems on "we lost because we were elites or didn't listen to angry white men or were too pro-trans..." were all clueless pontificating by those who missed the point. We lost because Trump lies, cheats, steals so effortlessly with a smirk. He won because he was always "the Snake who bites the kind woman stupid enough to save him" - he told that story for a reason, it's his joke on the losers dumb enough to take him in. And he knew he had the lack of honor to convince them.

The ONLY person who can convince Trump voters to abandon him was Trump. I'm ok with that.

They will never vote for any Dem Presidential, but they will refuse to vote. And that's our best bet. Let Trump suppress MAGA voters. Let them feel the snake bite.
