This is a running stitch. I am using a heavy duty sharp needle for the denim. I do use embroidery needles for stitching dish towels. To stitch the denim I have to use a thimble.@NorcalGma2 Thank you!!!!

To stitch the denim I have to use a thimble.@NorcalGma2 @perri Small, thin tapestry needles will slip through denim (and other thick but not tightly woven cloth) like it's not there. Sharp ones get stuck and are hard to push trough. I'm not even sure why those are the most used/best known/recommended ones?

@NorcalGma2 @perri Small, thin tapestry needles will slip through denim (and other thick but not tightly woven cloth) like it's not there. Sharp ones get stuck and are hard to push trough. I'm not even sure why those are the most used/best known/recommended ones?

I am going to be on a crafting BINGE as soon as I am able to lol. So many projects have built up in my mental queue! I am subsisting on watching other folks' projects come along. I have been healing, the PT is doing wonders and a lot of the motions I can do even when unwell. So with any luck I should be back to it after some strengthening. 🥰 note to the file: don't land on elbows, they are poorly structured for this

@NorcalGma2 Got some kit from AliExpress with them, size 26. Thin enough to bead with. Ordered a handful since, they are absolutely game changing. I use them for almost everything now. Don't seem to find this tiny size in EU though.

@NorcalGma2 yeah. I can't really do embroidery anymore (yet?) since I fell from my wheelchair some months ago and managed to entrap both my elbow nerves. My dominant hand index finger and thumb get very sore and numb very quickly now, so lack the dexterity. PT has been helping but have been too ill to go for some time. Hoping this latest round of steroids perks me up. But I could find a patch on Etsy or attempt to use my sewing machine. Maybe a pin?
