"Those sentenced to death would be held in a separate facility with no visits except from authorised personnel, with legal consultations conducted only by video link. Executions would be carried out within 90 days of sentencing.

Military courts in the occupied West Bank would also be empowered to hand down death sentences, with the defence minister able to submit an opinion."

@Geri @kcarruthers Capital punishment has been completely abolished in all European countries except for Belarus and Russia, the latter of which has a moratorium and has not conducted an execution since 1996. The absolute ban on capital punishment is enshrined in both the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union (EU) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capital_punishment_by_country

@Geri It may be time for the world to acknowledge that the current tactic of *checks notes* [ignoring] the rise of nazi ways is perhaps not actually working. Perhaps we should try [literally anything else] instead.

@PhoenixSerenity According to this law, you can be accused of being a terrorist (even retrospectively); arrested and put into isolation; denied legal representation; and then three months later be hung till dead
