I think watering down the backlash against #BillC22 to a "misunderstanding" is either willfully ignorant or intentionally misleading
the majority of Canadians against C-22 have not misinterpreted the bill, but rather have a lack of faith in the institutions the bill relies on to properly function
you need to trust the government, judiciary, the police and the CSIS not to misuse the bill
and Canadians simply cannot trust institutions any longer.
