      Though they are not panicking, a good many of them aren't going to show up for formation. This has been an entirely educational experience for both sides: if Trump is true to form, he will declare victory and go home.

      Iran is already in trouble - from a far more basic life necessity - drinking water. If these people don't get water, it will create a huge refugee crisis.

      But if American put in at some port and powered up a desalination operation, providing drinking water - that blockade wouldn't last five minutes. It's properly Islamic, the connection between Islam and water is deep.

      An act of mercy would end this all.

      But more fool me to think Trump would know that.
