            @davidrevoy
wouldn’t that mean „I change“ if that’s supposed to be Latin?

„shut up!“ probably is more like „sile!“ ?

But then again my Latin is quite rusty, and I don’t have any knowledge about chaosiahnish at all…

@davidrevoy Great comic. Is there a name for the young witch? Now that I think about it I am not sure if the main witch has a name either.

@VANTABlack2000 Thank you. Yes, I have to find a name for the young small elf blond; her codename in my sketchbook is Free-ren or FreeLibre-ren , a pun about a free libre derivation of the Frieren proprietary character.

For the Gothic Sorceress, her codename is Cepper. For "Cepper&Parrot" an anagram for "Pepper&Carrot".

So, as you can see, nothing serious.

@davidrevoy Ah nice. I like seeing Free-ren as a reoccuring character. It makes a nice story between Cepper finding her using Avian Intelligence for lessons and then being in a No-AI Club with her.

Oooh, can I suggest one where the parrots all talk to each other in a line, and each time they pass it on it gets more and more garbled as they are "learning" from each other and it degenerates into informational goo.

@doctormo @fell That's indeed a good idea Martin! The 'training on training' is a theme I haven't explored yet, and using the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telephone_game as a metaphor can work. I just need a good punch line or end twist.
Someone suggested also a blue type of Parrot cannibal directly eating the speechbubbles of red Parrot and having after issues to speak. I have it on my note, but it was also hard to find a good end twist or punch line to transform the mechanic into something to laugh about.

About the teapot moon, it's something from the Pepper&Carrot (my series with longer episodes) "Hereva world" ; and a reference to the Russell's teapot

@davidrevoy what a nice reference! This feels SO Discworldy to me. Terry Pratchet would be proud!

is it mentioned in the Pepper&Carrot comics or is it a background oddity there as well?

I thought I read all of P&C comics. But that unfalsifyable teapot slipped my mind 😁

@NeroBurner Thank you for reading them! And oh yes, Terry Pratchett influence is strong on my work The master. (Douglas Adams too).

The teapot moon appeared the first time on panel 1 of the episode 4 in 2014 https://www.peppercarrot.com/en/webcomic/ep04_Stroke-of-genius.html , and can be seen after here and there (ep30 from the top of my mind).

                                      tacere, silere: quid est differentia?

                                      [edit, added]
                                      Gut feeling:
                                      tacere is more like not-speaking,
silere more like not making any sound?

But then again my last serious brush with latin was over 30 years ago.
