As a retired educator, it is an insane idea. But then Melania is robotic, too, and probably prefers their company. It has the smell of Peter Thiel all over it imo. -

You’ll note that she stays pretty far away from the robot. This is a safety measure, because if the robot starts to fall, it may start flailing its arms around to regain its balance.
