    @jackryder @TheBreadmonkey @benroyce @overholt

    I liked to refer to my 1998 Honda as a turn-of-the-century vehicle.

      @benroyce @overholt Am I crazy? "The 1900s" always meant to me, the years from 1900 to 1910—now it means the whole 20th century?

        "born in the 1900s" is apparently ancient now. this poor dad just driving his kids to school gets absolutely roasted for it:

                I’m a good bit older than him ( my son turns 30 soon) but my Dad was 40 when I was born, & his Dad was 31 when he was born.

                My Grandfather was born before the Wright brothers flew, and even before there was a single gasoline powered car in the US, and that seems crazy to me.

                  @benroyce @overholt "Yo papa so old" burns. Between siblings. While Dad is driving. There's just no coming back from that. He just has to sit down on a bench somewhere and crumble into 1000-year-old dust.

                                        we are old

                                        "born in the 1900s" is apparently ancient now. this poor dad just driving his kids to school gets absolutely roasted for it:

                                          Yeah. I can so relate to this man.

                                          When I told my kids, we had no mobile phones when I was their age, they started to wonder whether we had cars or TVs.

                                          Fortunately for them, they did not ask for dinosaurs.
