Come to think of it, every reasonably big "tech" company has burned their reputation, prestige or whatever to the ground.

I've just read the techcrunch piece about how google are "reinventing" search, and it's clear nobody in the tech world (most journos included) have the smallest idea what ordinary people using tech products actually want from them. -

@MLE_online I dunno, cachet seemed to work for Alta Vista, MapQuest, and Ask Jeeves.
