        @EdwinG
        I was wondering the same because it's illegal to sell those here

        Can they circumvent the law if it was ordered from overseas and not stored in a Canadian warehouse? (that is, if this was the case)

          @SnowyCA @EdwinG

          I'm guessing but it seems to me that most of what Amazon 'sells' is actually sold by a third party and just fulfilled by Amazon (I haven't ordered anything off amazon in a full year, so I could be wrong); they then use this as cover to avoid responsibility for what is sold on their site.

          The solution is to start holding companies that facilitate the actions of others accountable if they reasonably should have been aware of the action taking place. So Amazon would be criminally liable for anything sold on their site since they should know what is being sold (it's not like DHL for example who might only know what a shipper says is in the package and not it's true contents).

          The tech-bro oligarchs rely on not being held accountable for the actions of the users on the platforms that make them rich. Take away that immunity and they either need to clean up their platforms or get shut down.
