Hey all.
I just landed a change in the main branch that makes it possible to have
text attributes automatically announced as you read and/or as you use
say all.In the preferences window, there's a setting under verbosity on the
speech page and similar setting on the say all page. Under commands
there's an unbound speech command to cycle through the available options
at run time. If you use it, it takes precedence over both settings.I tested this mostly with LibreOffice Writer and a bit using Google
Docs. Note that the feature depends entirely on Orca being able to
access the text attributes via AT-SPI2. So if an app -- or in this case,
Google Docs with both Gecko and Chromium -- fails to provide accurate
information, there's nothing I can do about it in Orca.Earlier today I also landed a change to speak misspelled words when
navigating by line. This is independent of the "proofreading" mode, and
is instead controlled by the setting to announce misspelled words. Please test and let me know what you find.
