from the orca mailing list from the developer:Hey all.I just landed a change in the main branch that makes it possible to havetext attributes automatically announced as you read and/or as you usesay all.In the preferences window, there's a setting under verbosity on thespeech page and similar setting on the say all page. Under commandsthere's an unbound speech command to cycle through the available optionsat run time. If you use it, it takes precedence over both settings.I tested this mostly with LibreOffice Writer and a bit using GoogleDocs. Note that the feature depends entirely on Orca being able toaccess the text attributes via AT-SPI2. So if an app -- or in this case,Google Docs with both Gecko and Chromium -- fails to provide accurateinformation, there's nothing I can do about it in Orca.Earlier today I also landed a change to speak misspelled words whennavigating by line. This is independent of the "proofreading" mode, andis instead controlled by the setting to announce misspelled words.Please test and let me know what you find.#gnu #linux #foss #orca #accessibility #blind
