Il calcio anni Novanta è il calcio dei campioni che sembrano eroi greci o carismatici personaggi byroniani volti verso il sublime, in soccorso dei più deboli. Uno degli ultimi eroi romantici di quel calcio è Igor Protti, l’unico che si è laureato 4 volte capo-cannoniere in A (con una squadra retrocessa), B e C, e che è riuscito a farsi amare ovunque ha giocato, da Bari a Roma sponda Lazio, da Messina a Napoli, fino a Livorno, per il quale nel 1999 rinuncia a un ingaggio miliardario e al successo facile. A lui è dedicato il documentario IGOR. L’eroe romantico del calcio, diretto da Luca Dal Canto e con la sceneggiatura dello stesso Dal Canto insieme ad Alberto Battocchi e Anita Galvano. A Milano sarà presentato venerdì 10 aprile, alle 21.40, al CityLife Anteo. Gli autori Dal Canto e Battocchi introdurranno il documentario insieme a Fabio Galante, bandiera di Genoa, Inter, Torino e Livorno. Italian football in the 1990s was the football of champions who seemed like Greek heroes or charismatic Byronian figures focused on the sublime, rescuing the weak. One of the last romantic heroes of that football is Igor Protti, the only one who was crowned four times top scorer in A (with a team relegated), B and C leagues, and who managed to win the hearts wherever he played, from Bari to Roma with Lazio, from Messina to Naples, until Livorno, for whom he refused a billion-dollar contract and easy success in 1999. A documentary titled IGOR is dedicated to him. The romantic hero of football, directed by Luca Dal Canto and with a screenplay by Dal Canto together with Alberto Battocchi and Anita Galvano. It will be presented in Milan on Friday, April 10th, at 9:40 PM at CityLife Anteo. The authors Dal Canto and Battocchi will introduce the documentary together with Fabio Galante, a flag bearer for Genoa, Inter, Torino and Livorno. The meeting will be coordinated by Diego Pretini, head editor of ilfattoquotidiano.it.
