@hypostase I always got the impression they were making fun of the 80s, or at least 80s guys trying to be cool in the 90s. The song was released in 1993. The sketches in the late 90s, and the movie and memes in the mid-00s, which might be why the demographic is skewing the way it is.

@switch Possibly! I have one sketched out for 8 pages. I'm trying to resist talking about it too much. I find that can take some of the energy out of it.

I might have designed a zine tonight? 😇 "Designed" mind you. Not made. Time will tell if I've got the energy to make and then distribute it. I'm really loving the idea and design tho. I had an interesting challenge to be subversive without being directly religious, political, or controversial in a small town. I'm excited what I came up with. #zine
