@Black_Flag I think one of the reasons I'm a sound designer is because I like Doctor Who. The classic era sound effects were brilliant! When you consider the humble origins of that sound and the tardis sound, you can't deny the genious behind them! π€©

@xogium The first version, I simply ear-balled, listening to the sound, picking out prominent harmonics and creating them with sine waves. I missed quite a few though. I combed through the original sound with a very narrow band pass filter to pick out what I missed and add it in.

@JustinMac84 Hahaha! So am I. I absolutely like the sounds the tardis make, all of them. I wonder how they were made.
And then that episode in the rebooted tv show of 2005 where you actually get the feeling of « oh, shit" because you've just heard a weeping angel blowing out the candle Rory is holding⦠It might not be sound design but it sure showed an attention to details.
