8. What is one of your most treasured memories?
When I met my husband (then boyfriend) in person for the first time. He drove like 600 miles to where I live, went to a motel, he opened the door and I clung to him and was like "Holy shit you're actually here I can't believe you're here!" Then I spent the next several nights with him.
9. What has overwhelmed you recently?
Recent health issues that left me barely able to function during the worst of it. I'm past that point, thank dog, but the worst of it was /bad./

10. Someone gave you $100, what are you spending it on?
In the past I probably would have immediately spent it on a video game or something, but now I'd most likely save it for a rainy day.

11. What makes you feel appreciated?
When my husband decides to fuss over me, and when others take the time to reach out to me when I'm having a rough go of things.
Also (technically speaking for a headmate here, plural system whee) when we write a story and it gets positive comments. Always a nice feeling :3

12. Do you have trust issues?
Not really. I recall there were times when I had a lot of trust breaches in quick succession and couldn't really trust anyone, but they didn't last long. Usually I have the opposite problem of being /too/ trusting.

13. Best concert you've ever been to?
I've been to two concerts. One was a B-52's concert from when I was maybe 8 or something and I don't remember any of it. The best one is the one I remember from back in high-school: Dragonforce, and I saw it with my friend and his dad. Said dad was (I shit you not) Tom Hamilton of Aerosmith, and he had Star Privileges or something and we got to meet the band in the green room before the show. In all honesty, that's the only part I remember beyond the fact that we were watching from a balcony thing (not a VIP thing, just second floor) and the band told the entire mosh pit on the first floor to give the second floor the middle finger, which they did without hesitation.

14. Do you care what other people think of you?
Not as much as I used to, but probably a bit more than I should. Keeping in mind that the majority of my interactions are online these days: I don't get as self-conscious if someone doesn't respond to something right away, but I still have frequent moments where I feel self-conscious about something I typed out and decide to delete it (posts here on Fedi, for instance).
It's a work in progress

15. What are your main hobbies?
Playing video games and writing stories (which is also current job). Technically, stories are done by my headmate since she was the one that posted the microfics that led to wanting to write larger stories, but it's a group effort.

16. Describe your dream home.
I'm not really picky about space and decorations as long as I have my own room and the necessities, but my dream home would be self-cleaning and the automated systems responsible for it would be cooperative, reliably functional, not held at the mercy of a parent company and requiring an internet connection, and not likely to turn hostile against organics.

17. What is your strongest held belief?
There is no such thing as a bad dog, only bad caretakers.

18. If you could get on a plane tomorrow, where would you go?
In general I'm not sure, I used to travel a lot when I was younger and I've since lost my taste for it. My husband lived in Ireland for a while many years ago and liked it a lot so maybe there would be nice :3
Tomorrow specifically: my husband and I are driving back home to Pennsylvania after visiting my parents (I had an urgent and last minute appointment nearby) so I'd just fly there instead.

@owashe@meow.social holy fuck you're somewhat related to someone famous!
iirc my high school counselor's relative's relative (don't remember which) is singer matthew koma, who's been featured on a couple EDM hits from the 2010s
elsewhere, my mom's relative's brother got to be a set designer/architect on a netflix series based on a colombian novel. said set designer isn't famous per se, but it's worth something i guess -

1. Do you have any nicknames?
I sure do! "Owa" is the most common but I have also been called (off the top of my head) Owashiington, Owashiing machine, Washy, Wishywashy, and Owawawa.
@owashe those nicknames are awesome tbh

-

@ericjames Eh, it was along the lines of "wow look at all those people not down on the first floor, boooo" as opposed to directed at anyone in particular
I flipped them off right back but I don't think anyone saw x3

19. What is your most attractive feature?
Either my laugh or my eyes; I get complimented on those more often than other parts of me.
