@anon_4601 Welcome to the club. I left Windows 10 a year ago as it was obvious my nine year old computer was showing its age. Dropped #ZorinOS 17.3 on to it and discovered I had brand new computer. It hadn't aged much at all. The virus that is #Windows had mislead me. My computer was fine, it had the sickness that is #Capitalism and #PlannedObsolence - #Microsoft had decided it was time to extract more profit from me, and so I was lead to think my computer was old and needed to be replaced. It was a lie. I hope more people realize their old, slow computers aren't at end of life, and that they instead explore the world of Linux distros, likely adding many more years to the hardware they have. And if someone reads this and doesn't know where to start, ask around. Someone in your circle is very likely going to be enthusiastically happy to help you. It is the way.

#Linux
