when i was 14, CD-ROM Today! magazine's cover disc came with a non-playable demo of RedShift: hardcore astronomy software that was equal parts education and reference.even today i'm blown away at how fresh this UI is. it's got this cozy Sony-like feel - just look at those soft green LCD backgrounds for all textboxes and labels.this could have set a standard for UI design at the time.https://macintoshgarden.org/apps/redshift-2#macintosh #vintageApple #retroComputing #astronomy #sony #ui
