As an former Ubuntu fan boy, for well over a decade, I second the recommendation of MXlinux over Ubuntu. Lighter weight and Debian base is great. It is also friendly to Linux newbies with helpful tools, community and documentation. I use Devuan on many of my computers, which is also based on Debian. #Linux #Debian #Devuan

Der gestrige Tag endete mit einem flüchtigen Blick in Richtung #Trisquel, einer 'absolut freien' #Linux Distribution auf #Ubuntu Basis ("mit dem Kernel Linux-libre"). Davon gab es kürzlich das Update auf Version 12, das habe ich mitbekommen und hier bin ich jetzt, werfe Images mit #KDE, #MATE, #LXDE und sogar #SUGAR Geschmack in eine VM und schaue was kleben bleibt.
