I had literally just started preparing to install Devuan dual boot, which is how I found this thread, when I started seeing seeing comments about the maintainer (from memory, "crypto-fascist", but I may be wrong).Something similar happened when I bought a Framework 13--it was the best thing since sliced bread, it was repairable, upgradable etc. until I started enjoying it and then I started seeing comments about how Framework sponsor several Linux distributions, and the maintainer of just *one* of them has displayed some disturbingly bigoted views in his social media.My comment to you wasn't to say people are right or wrong to choose, or not to choose, something with an imperfect background. My comment was on the stupidity of the modern trend to ignore nuance, and make every judgment in single-bit binary
