@jeffowski@mastodon.world There's significant financial liability in publishing content that can be considered defamatory, especially if those claims haven't included attempts at filing criminal claims. Given how litigation-related financial responsibility tends to get distributed, it's understandable that hosting services wouldn't want to potentially be on the hook for litigation.Best bet for stable publication is to do it using jurisdictions that don't leave the hosting service on the hook.
