Yes, always has been Some treadmills support it directly, but I personally use a Stryd running pod and a Polar H10 HR strap to get my avatar moving and show my distance, pace, cadence, and heart rate on the screen. That way, an iPhone or Windows PC with any treadmill works just fine. It's so much fun, I've been doing this for years!
