There's no reason that ten delivery trucks need to drive down the same road, multiple times a day, delivering mail, packages, etc. Turn gig-workers into full-time federal employees with good salaries and benefits. Reduce CO2 emissions. Reduce traffic, and wear-and-tear on city streets. Put the BrightDrop folks back to work by committing to electrify Canada Post's fleet of delivery vehicles. Built and host the IT infrastructure in Canada, not at a datacentre owned by American tech giants.[/rant]
