Somewhere behind those impenetrable clouds is a spectacular #lunareclipse. The weather gods were not merciful today.It wasn’t a total loss — it was lovely being the only person (crazy enough to be) on the pier at dawn, and I took some photos and got to learn my way around my smart telescope a little more. But this was my second serious attempt to capture an eclipse and the clouds foiled me both times. Hope I’m luckier for the next one in two years!#photography #dawn #waterfront #pier #nyc
