I got up a 3:45 am so you didn't have to. Skipped a planned photo expedition to near the border and glad I did. I shot a few pics from the driveway and went back to bed. This was shot with a 200mm and then digitally zoomed waaay in. I've done this before and gotten better results, so I think my focus was a tad off or maybe there was more atmospheric haze than I realized. #eclipse #LunarEclipse #moon

We used to take that telescope up to Camp Mather with us, when the kids were little.We would take turns looking as closely as we could to the night sky, while 'camping' in the Sierras, almost every summer.It has a round base, so could be held in a lap or on it's stand. Great for kids!
