My point was that I think people appreciate Fraser's calm but biting commentary style, and the way he doesn't present as being as aggressively as someone who is a non-interim-leader.I wish either he could simply be acclaimed and continue as he is, or that leadership contests didn't need to be contests so we could have a Fraser style candidate instead of the kind of person that a process like a leadership contest intrinsically filters out.

@adub We were already experiencing ER closures in many hospitals.We already had unacceptably high wait times that killed people.Make no mistake, this will absolutely cost people their lives.

I've spent lots of time in hospitals in the last 1 - 2 years (not for myself, for other people). Most of the health care professionals I see are nurses, by a huge margin. There's a lot of hands on stuff that doctors don't do.Cutting nursing positions will absolutely have a negative effect on care.#onpoli
