Reports today that #KansasCity has its first #measles case since 2018. The case is in an unvaccinated adult. The #pandemicene is here, folks. Just watched a TikTok video that my sister sent me from a local news station reporting on it, and the one thing they failed to mention that people can do to protect themselves was MASKING! Measles is incredibly contagious and IS transmitted through the air (yes, along with the other routes of transmission that you would expect, like fomites). Especially in buildings that are crowded and have poor ventilation, airborne viruses can stay transmissible in the air for quite a long time.
