Just heard an interesting talk about #BioPlastics by alex@alexmakes.net at #OggCamp.Alex was trying to make plastics from various materials at the Manchester HackSpace.He was mostly using a material called Kylozin, which can make a substance called "Nacre", which has potential as a plastic replacement.His end goal is to make an I-beam from the stuff.#LightningTalks
