@LoraHughes here is the one that I have - it charges via USB & has been going strong for a couple of years! I've done a bunch of blankets, clothing and even couch cushions. I'm not proud that I got mine on Amazon, but it's the truth. Might be able to snag one elsewhere. They come with a couple replacement blades, which I've changed out only once so far.

Dear #knitting lazy web: does anyone know of any patterns for socks with thick bottoms? I bought some socks in Scotland that are thick, warm, and squooshy on the bottom and they are my new best friends. I want to make more! Searching on ravelry was not productive, but it's a difficult thing to search for. I can't figure out a way to do it on my own without knitting flat and seaming.

@jankhambrams thanks It's still very confusing but I'm so glad I was able to pick it up relatively quickly without tons of brain fog. Crochet took me weeks to learn but I used videos only then. I suspect it was too much cognitively to navigate with long covid. But also, I'm now more used to working with yarn than when I started to crochet. I had no references or experience then.
