Always some small thing to restore faith in the human race. We were driving up a hill in our local village and saw an elderly cyclist take a nasty tumble as he came down it. We stopped, and a lady walker was also quickly on the scene, then two more cars stopped. He looked a bit shocked and bruised but otherwise ok. Very soon someone had fixed him up with a lift home, bike and all, and we continued on our way. #kindness #BloodyPotholes

My dear friends 🤍 I'm going through an extremely difficult time with my family of 19. We're struggling to meet our basic needs, and our home is no longer stable. My elderly parents need safety and warmth.I'm doing my best, but we need help with food.Any support, or even a kind word, means so much to us. https://chuffed.org/project/164090-help-khaled-and-his-family#help #support #hope #kindness #family #Gaza #Palestine

Many people relate to others by sharing a similar experience. This is especially common in autistic individuals, leading to the phrase “autistic relating”. Also common is that when this happens, the other person thinks the first is comparing the two or trying to take attention away, and that's not what they're doing. So the second person, not understanding what's happening, may invalidate the first person's experience with hurtful words such as “I had it worse,” “That's not the same at all,” “No one cares what you think.”To everyone that has ever encountered this confusion and hurt: thank you for sharing. I'm happy that you did. #Autism #Neurodivergent #Kindness
