Ich bin ja schon länger Linux Nutzer und hab Fedora als Daily-Driver.Jetzt sitzen wir hier grade und setzen Bazzite bei der Holden auf, was ja auf Silverblue, einer Atomic Distro, basiert.Ich hab mich damit ja auch noch nicht auseinandergesetzt. Wollten AutoFS einrichten füs NAS. Geht nur unter /var, nicht unter /mnt oder /media.Das Internet ist da aber auch nicht gerade mit Hülle & Fülle an Informationen gespickt #Linux #Fedora #Bazzite #FedoraAtomic #FedoraSilverblue #AutoFS

Normaler Weise nutzen wir Linux Fedora Workstation und sind sehr zufrieden. Leider muss man hier immer noch einiges nachträglich installieren - treibermäßig.Nun testen wir mal Nobara - einen Ableger von Fedora. Da ist schon sehr viel implementiert und ich bin zur Zeit sehr angenehm überrascht.Alles läuft reibungslos - gerade Videoschnitt mit #Kdenlive, aber auch #Inkscape, #DigiKam, etc..Wir testen weiter #linux #fedora #nobara #distribution #windowszulinux

@darkghosthunter @UniversalBlue I wouldn't put it past some companies to cut corners and ship poor hardware if they can get away with it. I couldn't comment on what firms do in other countries.Having said that, China and India seem to have a booming Linux community, so if firms are playing fast and loose with the standards I would have expected it to be more visible.Lowest end hardware can be unreliable irrespective of the OS you put on it. See recent bit-flip error stats.

Nachdem ich mich am Anfang echt eher schwer getan habe, mein Notebook für Nobara (Fedora-basierte Distribution) fertig zu machen, bin ich jetzt richtig glücklich. Viele Treiberprobleme haben sich aufgelöst und somit auch Skalierungsprobleme.Ich stehe voll auf Gnome ️#fedora #nobaralinux # #linux

@kernellogger right now it feels like Red Hat it silently neglecting abrt but hugging it close until it's deadeven announcing that they no longer want to invest in it and would hand the project over to community maintainers would be better than silently letting it die and then removing it from Fedora "because it's dead"
