@JensGustedt @embedded I found the interview valuable, and am considering buying your book, although it is easy to buy books and harder to read them! My comment about causes of failure was not a criticism, but rather a reflection of the differences in software worlds. Most discussion about modern software is about containers, cloud and kubernetes. I know almost nothing about those. Ironically, C is much more prevalent in #embedded than on servers, and hardware problems are front of mind!

I'm just working on getting my new home office area set up and to get my home lab set up so that I can get my RaspberryPi set up so that I can install OctoPrint so that I can get my 3D printer setup so that I can start printing little cases for all my embedded dev boards with LEGO Technic compatible mounting holes so that I can ...Maybe I'm biting off too much at once.Seriously though, I really enjoy making little custom cases for my embedded projects too - it makes it so much easier when you don't have wires and bare PCBs hanging out all over the place.

Been scratching my #retrogaming itch with some #wasm4 development, and it's been pretty great! It is honestly a great tool for easing people with some #gamedev experience into #baremetal programming (with all the direct memory access and whatnot), honestly feels a bit like programming an #embedded #microcontroller with a really good library.The semester is starting again soon though, and so I may have to abandon recreational #coding for a while
