When you drop it in boiling water together with some eggs, the color slowly shifts from outside to the middle based on where it gets hot, allowing you to see how the heat has propagated regardless of environmental conditionsthe concept of these is kinda brilliant, but this one specifically always makes everything smell like acetone (or something alike chemical and sickly sweet smelling) when I use it, so I can't recommend it unless you find a good one#cooking #cookingtools
