@c_merriweather It's normally caused by dirty or loose contacts that control power to the electromagnet that holds the lever down against the spring. Just cleaning the contacts and/or bending them a bit so they make a better connection usually fixes it. But you have to get it apart, first, which is not difficult, but which this pointless choice by the manufacturer made more of a pain than it could have been.
