        @kimlockhartga Dissent had been suppressed for so long that it was not possible. Now hopefully, new leaders emerge.

          @ajaykaul10 It seems that like here in the U.S. the levers of power on both the military and domestic side remain. It would be extremely difficult to pull off, especially with communications cut off.

            @kimlockhartga Agree with you on the first point. I still hope that the people will ultimately push for democracy.
