@User47 Not me; I didn't really appreciate grunge/"alternative" when it first came out, so I broke away from popular music unusually early for a GenXer.
I went from classic rock stations starting around 1990, to CDs, to MP3s (Limewire!), to Pandora.
So while I do listen to a lot of stuff that's come out in the last 35 years, generally it's ambient chillout and Pacific reggae that most people wouldn't know.
You might even say I was a hipster before it was cool.
