    TIL from @Geri that the UK is diluting its commitments on fossil fuels from Russia.

    This is inevitable. Governments of countries that want more fuel than they produce will eventually do anything to get it. Europe – consuming 5 to 6x more than it produces – will not ignore what the warmongering fossil fuel bear over the hedge offers.

    If you don’t like it, then stop flying and cut down on driving as much as you can. There are other good reasons to do that anyway

    UK waters down new Russian oil sanctions as fuel prices rise

    The change reflects increasing supply concerns over certain fuels due to the effective blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.

      @urlyman @Geri such endless amazing coincidence that Trump's foreign policy seems to keep benefitting Russia.

        @urlyman

        Onion link exists for the BBC article, this keeps readers more anonymous by forgoing the exit node step used in tor to access clear web sites

          @urlyman @Geri How about we don’t frame it in terms of personal responsibility?

          Abolish flying and build railways, for crying out loud!
