If you spot an unusually tall man with a beard and probably a sweater made of similar fibre volunteering at the repair cafe, that's my brother. If there's an older unusually tall man, also with a beard, hovering behind him and offering him unhelpful advice without actually being a volunteer himself that's my Dad.

I have already, as instructed, affixed a Repair Cafe banner to an ancient church wall. As I am not myself a volunteer with the repair cafe, my brother is, I would like to state for the record that if the wall falls down I'm not the one to blame here.
