Hey. The DB shows pf.social never accepted your follow, as it's stuck in "pending" state. This means pixelfed.social doesn't send any updates here. The next step would be to toggle the follow button. Can you unfollow the acount, wait a few minutes and then follow it again? The "accept" message from pixelfed.social -> toot.community probably got lost in transit.
I just followed the account myself, which prompted pixelfed.social to also send us the new avatar.

I can only see px posts only by search for the username, but nothing appears in my feed.
All privacy option are off in PX.I made a similar account for @blabberlicious@vernissage.photos
Everything works: follow, list, notification, boost.
The only thing that is broken is the biog pic and details, which aren’t up to date (should be a portrait of me)
Hope I don’t get you into holiday trouble!

Interestingly, from PX website, I can’t see my @blabberlicious account, just the @blabberlicious@vernissage.photos
And some other older unused accounts.

Just to be clear: Only new posts will be sent from Pixelfed, older posts only appear on your timeline when you search for them.

Hey Steve. Your (new) follow still is stuck in pending. The posts of your PF account are landing in my @jorijn home feed, so federation works. For some reason, Pixelfed is not sending the "Accept" message back to us for your specific account. It appears to be an issue on their side. You can double-check the block list on the PF side, maybe @blabberlicious is in there?

Just to confirm: From within TC, using Ivory (iOS) I can search and find & follow my PX.social acccount. But new post from PX don’t appear in my timeline or notifications. After few hours, if I check the PX follow it becomes marked as ‘requested follow’. Buy PX doesn’t get one, or see my TC account.

I tried making px private, curated follows only.
But on TC, the px account isn’t marked as ‘request follow’.
Someone fundamentally broken between instances. 🥹

I wonder if you had any insights?Whats strange is I'm unable to make a new PX social account via the web. When I choose the .social server I get a 'page unavailable' (from my home and mobile networks). It's as if my IP address been blocked in some way?
I'm happy to give you temp access to my PX account to see if it's as broken on your end.

@blabberlicious @support We temporarily closed registrations, but they are re-open now. I'm still investigating and will get back to you regarding the federation issue. I'm really sorry about this!
