@FinchHaven @heidilifeldman but so not genocidal? Because this means genocide, logically speaking.

@FinchHaven @heidilifeldman did you read what Fetterman said? He's up for killing every appointed leader, one after the other. So that means everyone.

@FinchHaven I did, but I indeed can't quite grasp it. Like, how can that even be the case. How is nobody able to do anything about that.

Donald Trump has destabilized the region from Greenland to Venezuela and Ecuador. By Fetterman’s reasoning, any country in the region, along with its allies in other regions, may justifiedly assassinate Trump, including by use of military force. 6/6

Apart from whether Fetterman is urging possible violation of the UN Charter, to which the U.S. is a signatory, Fetterman’s views about the acceptability of a country taking military action to assassinate another country’s leader for destabilizing a region seems particularly odd for Senator whose own country’s President has destabilized that country’s region. 5/

@heidilifeldman And if we (and Israel) keep killing people in Iran until someone in the administration is satisfied with the body count, we’re committing more genocide. #warcrimes

‘When Bolduan pushed further on the issue, asking Fetterman who should decide the leader of Iran "if you think the United State should take part in taking out every next leader going forward" if the leader doesn't meet the right measure, he responded by saing he "absolutely" supports killing the leadership of Iran.’ 3/

@heidilifeldman Fetterman has not been well for quite some time, apparently.

@meuwese @FinchHaven The only sure way to rid ourselves of a mentally deficient politician is to vote him out of office. He could be expelled by the Senate but it's been 150 years since that has happened. It requires a two thirds vote, an impossibility in the current Senate.
I once supported him, but he has changed radically. Best case scenario is that he would voluntarily retire before his term ends in 2029.
                  Chances are slim to none.

@CdnCurmudgeon @heidilifeldman Someone had to step in the role emptied by Manchin and Sinema when they quit. Fetterman just enthusiastically dove in headfirst.

@heidilifeldman Well the problem is that what if Donald Trump wakes up one day and decides that the leader of your country needs to die because they increased a tariff on US automobiles or maybe a governor of a blue state needs to die, or perhaps the CEO of Netflix. You get my drift.
