        @virtuous_sloth Nah, they'll just use the not-withstanding clause to say "nuh uh" and pass a bill saying it's fine.

          I decided to look it up. The decision refers (if I'm to believe the article) democratic rights which are in section 3 of the charter while the section 33 notwithstanding clause only refers to sections 2, 7-15.

            @virtuous_sloth Then I wonder what the UCP will pull out of their ass next, their contempt for democracy has been on full display for a while now and I doubt they'll stop if they're told "no."
