    i say this as someone whos had a 2020 macbook pro for years. i hate my shitty fucking dock. it craps out all the time and overheats and the motherboard has to throttle cause im having so many peripherals hooked up to only 2 thunderbolt ports.

                @akana sadly i can't get it to boot off an install disk, unless it's a CD/DVD i guess. so i'll have to get some dvds and flash a windows 2000 install medium to it

                    yeah it's a super old dell latitude and the battery doesn't work but i got a power supply and it technically boots and it has A PENTIUM 4 so i really wanna run windows 2000 (the software it came with) on it and get quake running

                                @akana we have a folding rj45 connector on ours where when it's not being used the locking side folds up
