#Spotted on Market Day in Aotearoa New Zealand:
A woman (50s?) is striding past a coffee cart. A big bunch of parsley clutched in her hand like a fragrant green bouquet. A small perky dog (Jack Russell) trotting at her heels, looking up at her adoringly.
A Tiny Human Fairy (2?) is skipping along, fairy wings on. Feet bare.
But wait!
She's not a Tiny Human Fairy.
She's a Tiny Human Seagull!
Snaffling a chip from a passing teen and stuffing it in her cheek pouches before anyone notices.
Dad face palming.
Tiny Human Seagull unrepentant.A man (30s?) is inspecting a selection of tomatoes while cradling a sausage dog in the crook of his arm.
Sausage Dog looking very content with this situation. Eyes closed, one ear cocked just in case.A small human (5?) dressed in a jumper with bunnies on it is RUNNING and CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCHING on a big pile of fallen leaves. Arms outstretched. Twirling around. A huge gap toothed grin for her Mum.
A young human dynamo (7?) is trotting at Mum's side as they head into the markets.
Saying: "If I have a coffee like you I would work REALLY hard and have ALL the energy, won't I Mum? A coffee would be VERY good for hard work." She pauses to give Mum a hopeful look.
Mum doesn't seem convinced.(Continued below)
