      🎶 What game's sound is this❓️️️️️️️

      If you can name the game this sound is coming from, post it in the comments. 🤔

      RetroGuessr No. 137 Solution

      ✔️ Pokémon Pinball (Game Boy)

      🥇 @DLink

      💡 Unlike the Japanese release, on the title screen Pikachu is smiling in the international versions.

        Oh, I really should have know that as I always play pinball games in the garden during the summer.

        Although I tend to gravitate towards Revenge of the Gator most of the time.

            @repeatro
            Absolutely. Especially the NiGHTS table. 😊

            Pinball of the Dead is also really well done.

            Ah. You were talking about the MegaDrive game!
            I was still thinking Game Boy or GBA. 😅
            But yes, I have that one as well.

              I never made it beyond the second level. I really have a tough time when playing pinball games in general, dealing with balls in between the two flippers without me having the chance to hit them.

                @repeatro @DLink @Judeau @outofprintarchive @PuppyFromLosAndes @Hundstrasse haha, I knew it was a Gameboy title, I actually thought Kirby's Pinball Land though.

                  @repeatro

                  There's a lot more to it than people looking at it from the outside realise.
                  And it's hard to try and describe how to get better at it as well.
                  One thing that helps though it to take things slowly and capture the ball instead of constantly shooting it away as it comes for you, as much as you can so that you have more control.

                  Although I don't do that myself at all since I just love to play wildly and try to create my own flow in the chaos, which is just way more fun to me than to play methodically.
                  Like capturing the other balls during a multiball and just play with one ball and one flipper. I find that soooo boring. 😅

                  I highly recommend the Williams tables in Pinball FX, especially things like Medieval Madness and Attack From Mars.
                  I've converted quite a few people with those picks over the years.

                  But you really need to stick with one table, two at most and learn the ins and outs of them and what to do at which points in the game.
                  That's where it becomes so addictive.

                    Video pinball in the garden is a time-honored tradition (likely not, but it should be). After cleaning up the back garden yesterday afternoon, I brought out the TV and Nintendo and spent a few minutes with PinBot before cooking dinner.

                      @GamesMissed Ooh, PinBot! Oh man, that and High Speed were on whole different level thinking what an average video pinball game looked like at the era. They may be very first examples of player POV video pinball game.
