    My Doctor Who DIY mini playfield target project progresses! Today I got the PCBs from PCBWay and at a glance they look right. I'll be assembling one hopefully this weekend.

    And look, they even come with instructions!

      My Doctor Who DIY mini playfield target project progresses! Today I got the PCBs from PCBWay and at a glance they look right. I'll be assembling one hopefully this weekend.

      And look, they even come with instructions!

      I assembled the first LED board. Works fine in switch test! Next up: the phototransistor side. #repair #electronics

          Here goes the phototransistor side. I can't believe I got away with one board for both sides, while the originals are unique. If I ever make a second batch, I'll just order the same thing in blue and green.

          They can be told apart from the parts, the LEDs are clear and phototransistors almost opaque.
