Genuine Interrail panic this morning
The Interrail app wouldn’t allow me to add a journey 🤯
No journey means no QR code to show to train managers…
Turns out: an iOS update broke it! You can’t SEE the Save button
Tap where I’ve circled and it works!

But I think it was the update to iOS 26.4 that was the core problem.
It does work - you just need to tap where I circled

@jon I’m still on iOS 26.3 and will avoid any updates, then.

SNCF train manager comes to check tickets. I’m travelling with Interrail, it’ll take a second I tell him. “Is there a problem?” he asks me
We chat, and I explain the disappearing button. Just in case others he controls have the same issue

Map 2: the active railway line Béning - Bouzonville - Thionville (in Red) It’s double track electrified. But France runs no passenger trains on it

@jon speaking of which, I don't understand why Interrail app allows adding trips to expired passes. What purpose does it have? Why overcomplicate the UI? I don't get it.

@andrew_shadura I think they think you might use it even for days Interrail isn’t valid?

@vosje62 it’s not I think. It came with the update to 26.4. I don’t even have dark mode on as a setting.

@stefanlindbohm @partim weirdly it only just happened as a problem. 2 weeks ago on 26.3.x it showed ok.

. I saw that half-baked glass stuff and just said ”nooooo thanks”. Will need to update soon for security updates though…
