    Cold and misty morning.
Summer was anxious to get out for a walk.
We arrived at the trail parking lot just as another dog family pulled up. Nice people and nice dog.
They were going to try and use the trail with a wheelchair. We were able to help them figure out what was possible and steer them away from the soft sand trail we favor.
Summer and I needed to talk though.
I added my attempt at drawing her likeness on my jacket.
I am not an artist and didn't want her to be insulted.
It was clear that I shouldn't have worried. When I asked her what she thought she said Far Out!
She might be watching too many old sitcoms with her pal.
We did have fun on the beach and Summer understands that the tribute to her on my jacket was meant to be an act of love.
She says love you to all her Mastodon friends.

Drawing Summer reminded me of trying to draw the golden gate. I'm not an artist but you can tell what it is representing in the end.

@sandorspruit @NorcalGma2 @BobHorowitz Yes! And "Summer, Golden lab, Golden Gate" remind me of these beautiful lines:

If you're going to San Francisco
Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair
If you're going to San Francisco
You're gonna meet some gentle people there
For those who come to San Francisco
Summertime will be a love-in there
In the streets of San Francisco
Gentle people with flowers in their hairΒ
