Lucky to have lots of space Summer and I ran around outside in the drizzle instead of our usual trail walk.
A gopher popped up on Summer's front acre over night.
How dare that gopher!
This is serious according to Summer.
She sits and stares at the mounds but I expect the gophers know exactly where she is and don't want to meet her in person.
It's not the miles we usually walk but will have to do for now.

Summer will grab the gophers if they poke their heads up. She has brought several to drop at my feet. She has a soft mouth and doesn't hurt them though. -

It’s great she doesn’t hurt them, but I bet they swear at her before running away. Do they ever give her any attitude?
