Interrail is a bit odd these days. In neither Trenitalia Frecciarossa or IC, nor regional trains of Trenord or Trenitalia TPER has anyone wanted to scan the Interrail QR. Do their devices not scan it?
And a cursory look at a reservation isn’t very secure!

An operator offering a quality *equivalent or above* that of DB is not what Flix is offering! And Flix buying Talgo trains is not going to make its service much more pleasant anyway

@jon Renfe rarely scan the interrail ticket, or even ask to see it, and it's about 50/50 with SNCF, I've found…

@jon I’ve seen info from Interrail that qr codes can’t be scanned in Italy but I can’t find it right now
I saw somewhere else about ticket scanning in Italy but I only saved this link where Italy isn't in the list of countries where #interrail can be scanned

Also some panel in the interior of this ex-FYRA ETR700 is vibrating and rattling. Makes for a rather loud journey.
@jon imo they shouldn’t have renamed the FrecciaArgento, it was a great way to differentiate a good train (Rossa) from a bad one (Argento)
