    It's been about 5 years since I've looked at Ubuntu Touch (or UBPorts?), so it was time I revisited this alternative OS.

    And now with Waydroid in a really usable state, it is really close to being fully usable for me.

    Let's take a look!

        @mikeTesteLinuxQlub @Oleksii @thelinuxEXP Isn’t Microsoft Authenticator just another 2FA app that’s interchangeable with any other 2FA app like Google Authenticator, or Ente Auth, or 2FAS, or… ? If it’s about generating 6 digit codes that change every 30s, you’re all set, everyone and their grandma can do it.

          @thelinuxEXP Thank you for taking a look at this! I always enjoy looking at alternatives, being an old Windows Phone 8.x user myself (and briefly testing Windows 10 Mobile), before moving to Android and then iPhone.

            @vincent @Oleksii @thelinuxEXP There a feature that send a specific number, so no unfortunatly, my work place use that fking feature 😞

            But I'll check if I still can use the 6 digit code , because if i can, that will be one step closer to say goodbye to android 😂

                  @mikeTesteLinuxQlub @Oleksii @thelinuxEXP It’s not a party till there’s lock in!
                  But I gotta say, even my work Teams account uses standard TOTP 2FA that I can use with any 2FA app.

                      @vincent @Oleksii @thelinuxEXP Just check with the vpn, it's possible to use it, they just try to scare you, "you can't use your authenticator?" > click on it, after its just the usual dark pattern sub-menu. Wow, can get rid of it if I want. nice

                        @theprivacydad @thelinuxEXP Hey! Does your kid know about PostmarketOS? Used it on my pixel 3a for quite a while (6-12 months?) quite happily! I didn't experience a lot of the issues they described in the blog post. From what I see online pmos seems to be a more active community (Might be biased on that though)

                          @thelinuxEXP interessting but it seems like they don't support the device I have laying around at home.
                          I only have google pixel phones... I know 😞 But the first 5 generations were nice.
